A Conversation With:
Jeannie DeLaura
Bolton & Company
Senior Vice President
How long have you been volunteering in the community?
I have been volunteering in the community for 20+ years.
How long have you been volunteering for The Valley Economic Alliance?
I have been involved with The Valley Economic Alliance (TVEA) for the past 4 years.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I joined Bolton & Company (Bolton) 9 years ago, and started working with nonprofit organizations after receiving a referral to one in need of support for insurance and risk management. I realized that nonprofit organizations have many needs but few resources. I have been working with and insuring nonprofits ever since.
My family and I volunteer and support several nonprofits including Childrens’ Hunger Fund, Lincoln Training Center, and several local schools.

What is one of your Passion Projects that you are working on?
One of my passion projects is being on the Board of The Bolton Foundation. We annually give back all of our raised funds to local charities that do so much good in our communities.
The Bolton Foundation’s mission is to empower those who serve others by providing grants to local nonprofit organizations that address community development, education, youth services, and multiculturalism within our local communities. This is a philosophy that resonates throughout the entire Bolton & Company organization.
Why do you continue to be a member of The Valley Economic Alliance?
I am a member of TVEA because it is a great organization that connects and supports Valley businesses. We at Bolton have a similar mission to support and educate local businesses, so I love that there is a synergy between both Bolton and TVEA.
