The Alliance is leading the way to develop Talent Connect (TC), an unprecedented collaborative program which will create a workforce development pipeline flowing between employers, training providers, and job seekers in growing occupations—especially youth needing internships and adults needing short-term vocational training. Long-term program outcomes include further establishing the San Fernando Valley as a global economic hub by building a superlative local workforce, achieving a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce and raising economic standards of living in the region.

- Consider candidates from the program for full-time or part-time employment

Education & Workforce Development Committee
The Education & Workforce Development Committee connects the local talent pool with education and skills-based training, cultivating a pathway to good-paying jobs for residents. By establishing a talent pipeline, the committee works to ensure businesses have access to qualified individuals, stimulating economic activity and enhancing our collective quality of life. Valley leaders are encouraged to join the committee to learn about resources for employers and provide input into policies and programs that can improve our workforce.
