Topics and panel discussions fall under three tracks:
- Federal Procurement and Contracting & Supply Chain Growth
- Strategies for Exponential Growth
- Growth Capital Acquisition
Individual registration is $45 and includes breakfast, lunch, networking, exhibit floor entry, and access to all sessions.
“To carry out its mission around the globe and here at home,” said William Foster, Contracts Director for DCMA Southern California. “The US Department of Defense relies on a robust defense industrial base to supply its armed services with a wide variety of products and services. For nearly a century, the San Fernando Valley has been a huge part of this global industry, and events like this help strengthen business and government partnership to provide for the needs of our communities and US and Allied defense forces for years to come.”
The Defense Contract Management Agency provides contract administration services for the Department of Defense, other federal organizations and international partners, and is an essential part of the acquisition process from pre-award to sustainment.
Every business day, DCMA receives nearly 1,000 new contracts and authorizes more than $650 million in payments to contractors. Most importantly, every day the DCMA team delivers more than a million and a half items – from fighter jets to fasteners – to our warfighters.
“Our mission is to promote growth in The Valley, and DCMA shares this mission,” said Sonya Blake, president and CEO of The Alliance. “This summit will help businesses across The Valley to secure defense contracts and acquire capital, which is a winning proposition.”
