The Valley Economic Alliance and the California Employment Development Department held its ninth annual “Honor a Hero-Hire a Vet” Job & Resource Fair on Oct. 16 at the Warner Center Marriott, Woodland Hills. A ribbon-cutting ceremony opened doors to more than 1,500 job seekers, 750 of whom were returning veterans, reservists and National Guard members.
