STEVE ALLEN “EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION” AWARD HONORING VALLEY SCHOOLS, EDUCATORS, AND STUDENTS
Sherman Oaks, CA— San Fernando Valley schools, educators and students, who have received national education recognition this year, will be recognized and awarded at the 21st Annual Steve Allen “Excellence in Education” Awards on Thursday, May 26th at The Valley Economic Alliance (TVEA) Board of Directors meeting. The virtual meeting and awards virtual ceremony will be held from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
This award was named after Valley resident and legendary entertainer Steve Allen, and salutes nationally recognized achievements in the education field. This year the awards will be presented by Steve Allen’s son and Alliance Board Vice Chair Bill Allen.
Recipients of the 2022 Steve Allen “Excellence in Education” Awards are:
Balboa Gifted/High Ability Magnet Elementary School
- Granada Hills Charter High School Academic Decathlon Team
- Grover Cleveland High School Humanities Magnet
- Los Angeles Pierce College Theater Students
- Northridge Middle School Medical Health Magnet
- Reseda Charter High School Police Academy Magnet
- Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies
