Kim Guard recently moved from Portland, OR and opened Express Employment Professionals in Glendale, CA; her second franchise. Her Portland office was ranked in the top 10 offices out of over 700 offices in the world for many years.

Express Employment franchise was an easy choice for her because helping people is her passion. Kim’s favorite part of her job is matching companies with great people and helping associates find employment so they can care for their family.

Kim joined The Valley Economic Alliance because she wants to help companies find quality employees.

Jim MacLellan is responsible for trade promotion programs to encourage increased trade through the Port of Los Angeles and the Southern California Gateway. This includes the Trade Connect programs to assist local businesses enter global export markets.

The Port of Los Angeles is pleased to support The Valley Economic Alliance as they serve one of the most important regions in the greater Los Angeles area. TVEA is an effective partner for the Port to outreach and serve businesses related to international trade. They have customized a program for the Port which helps achieve our shared goal of economic development.

Steve Savoldelli is Vice President of Comerica Bank and a commercial banking and financial services professional with 20+ years experience assisting businesses and individuals.

Steve has assisted companies of all sizes in a variety of industries including Manufacturers and Distributors, Importers and Exporters, Media & Entertainment, Health Care, Energy and Real Estate companies among others. SolarTec USA Inc.

Fred Tahmasbi, is President of SolarTec USA Inc. and has a strong background in Real Estate, renewable Solar Energy and strong advocate for Green Power and environmental sustainability. Fred believes that the solar residential and commercial market will grow about 40% by the year 2020. He is setting up several small solar farms that produce clean energy to feed back into the grid.

Fred joined The Valley Economic Alliance because he believes that a strong private-public sector relationship is important and that the more members TVEA has, the stronger we are as business people who serve our communities.

Jeff Baker is President of AGF Media Services. Established in 1967, AGF provides state-of-the-art audio visual production services, equipment rental and staging for corporate, non-profit and social events. Jeff and his team work with organizations of all types and sizes to create unique and memorable meetings and events, utilizing the most current presentation technology. AGF’s corporate headquarters are located in Van Nuys and they travel to venues throughout the country with their clients.
